Ruffo gets a valuable piece of info from the secretary of the 13th contractor, Ricardo Bretch. Verena and Guilhome find themselves under investigation.

Police officer Marco Ruffos family is threatened as he attempts to take down money-laundering criminal Roberto Ibrahim.

Vanders illegal wiretap pays off. When Ibrahims new venture gets off to a bad start, his money-hungry wife makes a fatal error.

Ten years later, Verena continues her investigation into Ibrahim and the currency dealers who work with him.

3 - Addicts

Ruffo gets a surprise when he visits his wife at the ranch, and later makes a deal with Maria Tereza, who is followed home after picking up her son.

While the team works hard to pull off an operation involving multiple targets, important evidence goes missing.

4 - The Great Illusionist

Disciplined as ever, Bretch gets to work on a plan and gives his wife instructions. To find Ibrahim, Ruffo follows another trail Luz Maria has left.

Guilhome gets assistance from a surprising source. Verena goes after João Pedro as Judge Rigo weighs a momentous decision.

Following the cigarette lead, Ruffo heads to Paraguay. When Guilhome learns Ruffo is pursuing Ibrahim alone, he sets out to find him and bring him back.

Verena feels like she cant trust anybody anymore. Ibrahims wife is angered by what he has been doing in jail.

Verena finds herself at Ibrahims mercy. When Eva is unable to convince Bretch to talk before Ibrahim does, she calls a political ally for help.

The team pursues charges against João Pedros family in an effort to get him to talk. A leak threatens to dismantle the entire operation.

7 - The Ends and the Means

When Tom Carvalho tells Verena and the DAs office about shady deals involving former President Gino, Rigo issues orders that ignite a public firestorm.

7 - One Last Breath

Club 13 rushes to secure an agreement with the attorney general. A sewage leak opens Ruffos eyes to small-scale corruptions parallels to Jet Wash.

8 - Dirty Canasta

Rigo is unable to ignore the new wiretap recording. The prospect of Thames becoming president spurs Verena to find a way to break Bretchs silence.

8 - Doomsday

Verena receives devastating personal news. Ruffo re-evaluates his priorities. Dimas and Claudio find out the fate of the Doomsday operation.
